Market IDs

How to list a Pokémon at the exact price and find its 8-digit Market ID.

A Market ID is the 8-digit number Pokétwo gives every market listing. It tells us exactly which listing to buy for you.

How many listings do I need?

Each listing can hold up to 25M (that's 25,000,000 Pokécoins). Your amount is split into listings automatically:

OrderListings
25M1 listing of 25M
60M25M, 25M and 10M
250M10 listings of 25M

Checkout shows one row per listing with the exact price to use.

Create a listing

  1. Pick a Pokémon

    Any Pokémon works. Choose one you don't mind parting with if something goes wrong. To browse your collection:

    @Pokétwo pokemon
  2. List it at the exact price

    Use the number shown in checkout for that row. For a 25M listing:

    @Pokétwo market add 12 25000000

    Replace 12 with your Pokémon's number. Confirm when Pokétwo asks.

  3. Copy the Market ID

    Pokétwo replies with the listing's 8-digit ID. You can see all your listings any time with:

    @Pokétwo market listings
  4. Paste it into checkout

    Paste the ID into its row. The row turns green when the ID looks valid. Pasting several IDs at once fills the rows in order.

One listing per row, exact price

Each row needs its own listing at its own price. A listing that's priced wrong, removed, or already bought by someone else can't be delivered.

Pokétwo commands change from time to time. If a command doesn't work, run @Pokétwo help market for the current syntax.

Keep listings up until delivered

Leave your listings on the market until your order page shows them as Delivered. If you cancel a listing early, we can't buy it.

Common mistakes

My listing price has an extra or missing zero

Cancel the listing in Pokétwo, list again at the right price, and update the ID on your order page. See Fix a Market ID.

Someone else bought my listing

Listings are public, so occasionally another player buys one first. You keep the coins they paid. Create a new listing and update the ID, and we'll deliver that one.

I pasted the same ID twice

Each listing needs a different ID. Checkout won't let you continue until every row is unique.
